beGrounded is a project by textile artist and designer Lara Campos that explores the relationship between humans and other living organisms, as an emotional and artistic act through textiles. It proposes an exploration of a new habitable space in the form of a woven garment with growing sprouts, as a sensorial and interactive experience.

The HILO E-Spinner, with its simple versatility, served as the perfect companion for Lara Campos' artistic exploration. It enabled her to manipulate yarns into living organisms, by hand spinning seeds into the fibers.
